(MENAFN) Emirates Airlines said that the UAE carrier re-launched its services to the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, reported Emirates 24/7.
The company added that the resumption came after 20 years of suspension that resulted from Saddam Hussein’s regime’s policies.
It also said that Emirates Airlines, which started its services to the Iraqi city of Basra in February, would launch 4 weekly flights between the two cities of Dubai and Baghdad.
It is worth noting that for a one month period, Iraqis who will travel from Baghdad on the board of the UAE carrier will receive a free visa to the Arab Gulf country.
