(MENAFN) Emirates Airline’s manager of Canada, Don McWilliam, said that in order to enhance travel between regions, the carrier signed a deal with Canada’s WestJet, reported The National.
McWilliam added that under the agreement, passengers using WestJet to travel to Dubai would be able to link with Emirates’ network and carry on to any of the carrier’s destinations, on the other hand, passengers flying from Dubai to Canada would be able to connect with WestJet’s destinations.
He also said that according to the pact, passenger luggage would be transferred across the two carriers’ flights.
It is worth noting that Emirates Airlines has three weekly flights from Toronto to Dubai.
