(MENAFN) Emirates Airline & Group’s chairman and chief executive, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, said that the carrier would begin flights to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires next year, reported Arabian Business.
Sheikh Ahmad added that such destinations in South America are much desired by people all over the world. He added that Emirates Airlines already started flights to Sao Paulo in Brazil four years ago.
Minister of Tourism of Argentina, Carlos Enrique Meyer, said that this step from the carrier would reflect positively on Argentina’s economy, since the number of tourists, investments and trade would increase.
It is worth noting that Brazil played a great role in South America’s economic growth, for its oil income as well as its foreign trade with countries like the Arab World.
