(MENAFN) Emke Group’s managing director, Yousuf Ali, said that as part of a USD353 million allocated to increase investments in Abu Dhabi, the group launched its 96th Lulu Hypermarket chain in Abu Dhabi’s Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre and Gold Centre, reported Gulf News.
Ali added that the group renovated the area, moreover, it built an extension but without changing the aesthetic look of the Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre, adding that the new Lulu supermarket would span over a 150,000 square foot area.
He also said that the first phase included the launch of the LuLu Hypermarket and a few other stores, however, the company would open food court, restaurants, amusement area and other branded stores during November.
It is worth noting that the Emke group manages 26 large and mid sized format stores in Abu Dhabi at the current time.
