(MENAFN) Flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said that the company would increase the number of flights it operates to Bangladesh by a hundred percent as the carrier lainches new flights Dhaka, the Bangladeshi capital, reported Gulf News.
Al Ghaith reported that the new flights would make Dhaka flydubai’s 32nd destination and would boost trade and tourism collaboration between UAE and South Asian companies.
Al Gaith also said that this addition is very important as over 500,000 Bangladeshi expatriates live and work in the UAE. Remittances from these workers sent back to Bangladesh amount to $2 billion on a yearly basis.
