(MENAFN) Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of Flydubai, announced that the airline signed a sale and leaseback agreement worth $320 million with aircraft leasing group Avolon, Gulf News reported.
The mentioned deal for four Boeing 737-800NG aircrafts comes right after the airline announced deals with GECAS and BBAM to finance nine additional aircrafts, whereas both deals are valued at more that $1 billion.
As a result of the agreements regarding the 13 aircrafts, Flydubai secures its financial requirements through December 2011, stated the CEO.
