Flydubai starts Dammam flights

18 Jul 2011

(MENAFN) Flydubai’s CEO, Ghaith Al-Ghaith, said that in a move that would strengthen bilateral relations between UAE and Saudi, the low cost carrier started its Dammam, Saudi flights, reported Arab News.

Al-Ghaith added that the flight departed from Dubai’s International Airport and arrived at King Fahd International Airport in the Kingdom.

He also said that the number of passengers between the two countries would be forecasted to increase since business and investment grew in non-oil sectors such as science, industry and telecommunications.

It is worth noting that by 2015, Saudi will be projected to host an additional 10 million visitors.
