(MENAFN) Low-cost carrier flydubai unveiled plans to launch a freight division in January next year. Arabian Business reported.
The carrier said that flydubai Cargo will transport goods to all of the low cost carrier’s 46 destinations, as well as additional cities in India and Pakistan, and can originate from any point on the carrier’s network or beyond.
flydubai said it has signed interline agreements with other airlines for moving items outside its network, as it is expected that 60 percent of all shipments will be transit cargo.
flydubai said it expects to carry a monthly cargo of 1,500 tonnes on its Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft.
