(MENAFN) Ford Europe’s chairman and CEO, Stephen Odell, said that in order to increase the company’s sales in Saudi, which is expected to grow 60 percent in 2011, the automaker would launch a new branch office in Riyadh in mid-2012, reported Arabian Business.
Odell added that the company forecasted its sales in the current year to hit 47,000 units in the country, through Ford’s partner Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies.
He also said that Al Jazirah launched six new or renovated facilities in the Kingdom in 2011 and added 150 service bays throughout the country.
It is worth noting that sales of Ford and Lincoln vehicles in Saudi have increased rapidly and are the strongest of all the dealers in the Arab region.
