(MENAFN) Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, an Omani construction company, said that it has teamed up with Indian companies to win three road construction contracts in the South Asian country, Reuters reported.
The Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corp. awarded a group led by Galfar, SREI and Varaha the contract for Indore-Ujjain Road project estimated to cost $71 million, the company said in a statement to the Muscat bourse.
A venture between SREI, Galfar and PNC Infratech won the contract for the Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway estimated to cost $424 million from the National Highway Authority of India, it said.
The National Highway Authority awarded the six-laning of Chandikole-Jagatpur-Bhubaneshwar Road to SREI, Galfar and Simplex, according to the statement. The total cost for this project is estimated at $342 million, it said.
