Germany to address diferences in Doha trade negotiations

12 Feb 2011

(MENAFN) German Deputy Economy Minister, Bernd Pfaffenbach, said that the country would resume the Doha round of trade negotiations, however Germany would address restrictions on raw materials exports, reported Arab News.

The deputy minister said that while his country is in favor of the idea, it would not allow for it to be a reason for any hold-up in the negotiations that had been taking place for ten years now.

He added that when countries plan on developing new regulations for bilateral trade in food, industrial goods and services, they should be able to acknowledge their big differences and set a plan for solving them.
