InterContinental to add 50% more hotels in MENA

(MENAFN) InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) commercial vice president for the MENA region, Karin Sheppard, said that the group plans on expanding in the region by adding fifty percent more hotels to its chain over the course of the coming four years, reported the National

Sheppard said that the expansion plan includes the addition of 37 new hotels that are currently under development, to add to the group’s existing chain of 76 hotels.

IHG, the largest hotel group in the world, runs brands like Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, and had recently took over the former Marriott Renaissance hotel in Dubai.
