Iran exports $44m agricultural equipment to Sudan

(MENAFN) Abdel-Halim al-Mutafi, the agriculture minister in Sudan, said that his country and Iran have $44 million agreements by which Iran would export agricultural equipment to Sudan, reported Tehran Times.

The Iranian agriculture minister said that his country has plans for wheat and sugar production in Sudan. According to the minister, Iran is also willing to share agricultural expertise to Sudan.

It is worth noting that the Iranian president was in support of bilateral relations between Tehran and Khartoum saying they enhance social welfare in both countries.
