Iran’s Wagon Pars to open factory in Syria

(MENAFN) The Managing Director of Wagon Pars Company said that the company is planning to open a wagon production factory in Syria, Moj News Agency reported.

The official stated that the planned the unit is projected to annually produce 300 cargo wagons and will have 50 repair lines for passenger wagons. Once the factory comes on stream 640 direct job opportunities will be created, he said.

Wagon Pars Company, the Middle East?s largest producer of rail products, annually produces 1,500 cargo train wagons, 40 locomotives, and 250 passenger and metro train wagons.
