(MENAFN) Media Director at Iraq’s Ministry of Housing & Reconstruction said that it has been granted a $90 million credit from the World Bank to carry out various projects in different parts of the country, Aswat Al Iraq reported.
The mentioned grant has already been utilized for the construction of several roads in southern Iraq’s Wassit and Najaf Provinces, in addition to the construction and rehabilitation of 10 main roads and 4 bridges in west Iraq’s Babel and southern Iraq’s Muthanna Provinces, revealed the media director.
Amongst other projects, the Ministry would implement various upcoming projects which include the rehabilitation of several roads, connecting towns and villages in Diwaniya, Kut, Nassiriya, Amara cities, along with a main highway connecting Baghdad with Kut, he added.
