Jordan air passenger traffic rises 6.5% in 2009

(MENAFN) Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport witnessed an increase in passenger and aircraft traffic movements in 2009, according to Airport International Group.

Passenger traffic over the last year reached more than 4.7 million passengers, up 6.5 percent over the previous year.

Aircraft movements for 2009 were even stronger, closing the year with 57,766 aircraft, a 12.6 percent increase over the previous year.
