(MENAFN) Jordan’s Intaj CEO, Abed Shamlawi, said that Jordan planned to raise its exports of information technology (IT) services to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reported Gulf News.
Shamlawi added that the country’s share in Saudi’s IT market was small compared with shares of other countries.
He also said that Jordan’s annual exports of IT services to Saudi were around USD76 million, adding that intaj, which is Jordan’s ICT Association, was doing its best in order to expand in the GCC, especially in the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that annually, Saudi Arabia spends an average of USD3.8 billion on IT where Jordan’s market share is only 2 percent.
