Jordan, Syria to boost agricultural cooperation

(MENAFN) The Syrian and Jordanian governments have agreed to boost cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture and farm products marketing, Sana news agency reported.

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Otri reviewed with Jordanian Minister of Agriculture Saeed Al Masri agricultural cooperation and prospects of developing it in various domains during talks in Damascus.

The two sides stressed the need for setting up of agricultural partnerships, exchanging research expertise, facilitating the flow of agricultural products and coordinating efforts in the field of exporting Syrian and Jordanian agricultural products to foreign markets.
