(MENAFN) The Jordan-based Rubicon Group Holding said it signed an agreement with subsidiaries of US-based CBS and Paramount to cooperate on the construction of a theme park and resort in Jordan that are worth USD1 billion, reported The National.
The project would be called the Red Sea strarium and would be developed over an area of 74-hectare in Aqaba.
The resort will include a Star Trek-themed attraction created under license from CBS Consumer Products.
Development work would be done by Paramount Recreation, part of the Paramount group, while Rubicon would be in charge of design.
