Jordanian industrial output falls 6.3% in July

(MENAFN) Jordanian industrial production fell 6.3 percent in July from a year earlier as manufacturing and electricity output declined, Bloomberg reported.

Manufacturing dropped 11.1 percent and electricity production decreased 6 percent, while mining leaped 143 percent, the Amman-based Department of Statistics said in a statement.

Industrial production decreased 1.3 percent from the previous month, the department said.
