(MENAFN) Passenger traffic in Kuwait International Airport witnessed a narrow increase of one percent last month, with air shipping rising by five percent since last year, Kuwait’s General Administration for Civil Aviation said.
In a statement, the aviation authority added that the overall number of inbound travelers last month was 414,200, with 497,200 outgoing travelers representing a three percent increase and one percent decrease respectively since last year.
The airport oversaw 8,500 trips last month, representing a nine percent drop, noting that this drop was due to the short summer holiday period this year and the approach of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan.
