(MENAFN) Japanese official data showed that Kuwait’s crude oil exports to Japan have fell by 47 percent year-on-year in June to 4.86 million barrels for the sixth consecutive month, plunging 47 per cent year-on-year in June to 4.86 million barrels, state-run Kuwait News Agency reported.
This is Kuwait’s lowest volume of oil exports to Japan since June 2008, when this volume was 161,000 barrels a day, the news agency said on Friday.
About 5.1 percent of Japan’s imports of crude oil in June came from Kuwait compared with 9.5 percent in the same month of 2009 and 5.9 percent in May of the current year.
