(MENAFN) Kuwait’s Wataniya Airways stated that it was suspending operations as the company is facing a tough financial situation, in addition to the unrest taking over the region, reported Arabian Business.
The statement pointed out that all operations would be stopped because of lack of fair trade requirements in the local market which made the company face financial difficulties.
The company added that it would currently study the future of the company and what the next steps should be.
It is worth noting that Wataniya had earlier in December stopped flying to a number of destinations including Damascus, Amman, Manama and Jeddah.
