Lebanon posts 5.8% climb in electricity production

(MENAFN) The Lebanese Central Bank revealed that the country recorded a 5.8 percent climb in electricity production during the January-September period of the current year, Arabian Business reported.

During the mentioned period, Lebanon’s electricity production totaled 9.47 billion KWh, data showed.

The latest 5.8 percent increase is compared to the corresponding period of 2009, and is considered a 13.5 percent rise since 2008.
