Lusail to gibe USD3b sub-contracts in World Cup city

(MENAFN) Lusail Real Estate Development Co chief executive officer, Essa Mohammed Ali Kaldari, said that the company is planning on granting contracts worth USD3 billion for roads and infrastructure projects, reported Arabian Business.

The CEO said that the company would use an open bid for these contracts. The contracts would tackle sub projects in the 2022 world cup new city.

The CEO added that Lusail City would be completed by 2019 and would accomodate 200,000 residents as well 400,000 visitors. The city would include manmade islands, an entertainment district, an office park for energy companies, a golf course and five.
