(MENAFN) Marriott International stated that it would launch three new hotels with the total capacity of around 500 rooms in Qatar by mid 2011, reported Arabian Business.
Oliver Kahf, general manager of the three new hotels, said that the hotels would be a part of the development of the Doha City Centre Mall.
Kahf said that the plan is for the development of a Renaissance Hotel with 257 rooms, a Courtyard by Marriott with 204 rooms and a Marriott Executive Apartments with 123 housing units.
It is worth noting that luxury hotels are doing well in the gulf country as the Qatar Tourism Authority revealed figures showing a twelve percent growth for the sector in terms of revenue in 2010, year on year.
