Mazda plans to increase UAE market share in 2012

(MENAFN) UAE’s Galadari Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Mazda in the country, said that the Japanese carmaker would raise its UAE market share in 2012 by additional 15 percent to 20 percent, reported Gulf News.

The company added that it would rely on a new showroom that would be launched on Shaikh Zayed Road next year to boost its share in the UAE market which grew by 15 percent in the current year.

It also said that recently, sales in the country were slightly hampered by the UAE Central Bank’s new rules that required customers to put down a 20 percent deposit in order to be qualified for a car loan.

It is worth noting that Galadari Automobiles has 7 showrooms and 6 service centers across the UAE.
