(MENAFN) Samer Abu Ltaif, Regional General Manager at Microsoft Gulf, unveiled the firm�s plans to form a new sub-region comprising Bahrain and Oman, which were previously managed as separate markets, Gulf Daily News reported.
According to Abu Ltaif, the restructuring of operations comes in line with Microsoft�s vision to further expand within the region, and reflects its long-term commitment and renewed focus on enhancing the development of information technology infrastructure in both countries.
The new sub-region will headed by Tareq Hijazi, who will lead the overall strategy, business operations, and outreach for the company in both countries, as Country Manager.
