(MENAFN) The Chief Executive Officer at Mobily, Khalid Al Kaf, said that the Saudi telecommunications company is providing its subscribers with the first mobile medical imaging service “Mobile Baby” which transfers ultrasound stills, 3D images and video clips directly from an ultrasound machine to a mobile device, reported The Saudi Gazette.
Al kaf said that Mobile Baby service would be the first initiative to improve pre-natal healthcare through available and low-cost transfer of high-quality images and video clips from an ultrasound machine.
The CEO said that the application would operate on any ultrasound machine and enables high-quality, 2D and 3D images and video to be sent to any mobile device via MMS and email. Also, the service would make it possible for doctors and specialists to analyze sonograms within seconds, from wherever they are in the world.
