(MENAFN) The African Development Bank (AfDB) said that it has agreed to lend Morocco $334 million to finance a drinking water supply project.
The project involves the strengthening of the drinking water in towns along the axis of Rabat and Casablanca, which are experiencing urban development and tourist attraction, the Tunis-based bank said in a statement.
In accordance with its policy of decentralization aimed at taking its operations closer to its beneficiaries, the AfDB has, over the past few years, established about 23 field and country offices across the continent.
