(MENAFN) Wyndham Hotel Group Chief Executive Officer, Eric Danziger, said that the company would run the first Planet Hollywood hotel in Qatar, a project that is currently undergoing its planning phase, reported Arabian Business.
The CEO stated that the hotel would be owned by Regency Group Holding and would start operations in 2014. The hotel would accommodate around 300 guest rooms, restaurant, cafe, lounge, meeting facilities, fitness centre, spa and pool.
Danziger said that the new hotel would be the first Planet Hollywood brand in the Arab region. He said that this would be an addition to the chain of hotels the group already runs in Qatar as it has two Ramada hotels as well as the 246-Wyndham Grand Regency Doha which should open later this year.
It is worth noting that Planet Hollywood Hotels were first introduced to the world back in 1989. The hotel has a dominating theme that is based on movies, sports, celebrity and entertainment.
