PWC to monitor welfare of foreign workers in Abu Dhabi

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development & Investment Co (TDIC), announced the hiring of the well-known auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers, for checking monitoring treatment of 11,000 foreign workers on the emirate’s Saadiyat Island, reported Arabian Business.

The TDIC stated that it would apply strict penalties for any breaches such as financial penalties and the possibility of contract terminations.

It is worth noting that the Saadiyat Island has UAE branches of the famous Guggenheim and Louvre museums.
