(MENAFN) Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) unveiled a plan to pay USD55 million to turn a former palace into a luxury hotel in Morocco, Arabian Business reported.
QNH said that the project, covering a total area of 36,000 sqm, will generate more than 200 jobs for local workers.
The company signed an agreement with the government of Morocco to convert Tazi Palace in Tangier into a five star hotel consisting of 120 rooms, two VIP villas and one Royal villa.
The project will also include a spa, a fitness centre and a business centre, conference and banqueting facilities, an outdoor pool and a golf course.
