(MENAFN) A vice president at the world’s largest biggest missile manufacturer, Raytheon Co, reported that the company is negotiating a deal for developing an intermediate-level missile maintenance facility in Abu Dhabi with the UAE-based investment company, Mubadala Development Co, reported Arabian Business.
The vice president, Kevin Massencill, said that Raytheon is seeking more contracts in the Middle East. So far the company is pursuing deals worth billions of dollars in 2011.
It is worth noting that Raytheon is a major American military contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics. It was previously involved in corporate and special-mission aircraft until early 2007. Raytheon is the world’s largest producer of guided missiles.
