(MENAFN) Rotana Group’s CEO, Fahad Alsukait, said that as the company would aim to expand its presence in Egypt, the group launched a new entertainment channel that would target the Egyptian market with top class shows, series and movies, reported Arab News.
Alsukait added that the establishment of the new channel, which would include a programe presented by Hala Sarhan president of Rotana Studios, would be part of Rotana’s plan to increase the number of its channels.
On the other hand, Turki AlShabanah, vice president TV, said that the channel would be a big success and it would be rated among the top channels in the country due to its huge library of content, its leading role in new productions and its strong relations with the top stars in the various media platforms.
It is worth noting that Rotana Group is owned by Prince Alwaled Bin Talal, and has a group of leading TV channels that include LBC Sat, LBC Europe, Cinema, Khalijiyah, Musica, Zaman, Clip and Nagham that broadcast the latest Arabic movies, series and music videos globally.
