Royal Commission signs USD45m health, educational contracts

(MENAFN) The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu chairman, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, signed two agreements with Zahran Operation & Maintenance Company and Samama Company that both worth USD45 million, reported Arab News.

The USD33 million agreement with Zahran, would aim at providing the Medical Center at the Royal Commission in Yanbu and major healthcare centers in the Yanbu Industrial City with operation and maintenance services to keep health facilities in good condition.

On the other hand, the second agreement with Samama would focus on establishing girl schools in the industrial city by which the company would provide necessary material needed for constructing the schools. The deal costs USD12 million.

It is worth noting that the two contracts come in the time of increasing population in the industrial city. The commission has given highest importance to providing health and educational services to the city’s residents.
