Saudi 2011-2013 furniture consumption expected to grow at 12%

(MENAFN) RNCOS, a leading market research and information analysis company, reported that between 2011 and 2013, furniture consumption in Saudi would be expected to grow at annual rate of around 12 percent, reported Arab News.

The report showed that the country’s central region was seen as a major
center for Saudi’s furniture manufacturing industry, adding that Riyadh, Qasim, Hail, were the most favored regions for manufacturing furniture in the country.

It also said that due to increasing affluence and tourism developments, furniture consumption increased notably over the past few years, driven by strong demand from Saudi’s hotel industry.

It is worth noting that due to the constant surge in furniture consumption in the Kingdom, Saudi became one of the most attractive furniture markets in the Middle East.
