Saudi Kayan begins production in Jubail

(MENAFN) Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. announced lately on the bourse website it started commercial operations at most of its plants in Jubail Industrial City.
The company explained it started production at its polypropylene plant with an annual capacity of 350,000 tons, and 400,000 tons yearly from its polyethylene plant and 260,000 tons yearly from its polycarbonate plant and 566,000 tons yearly from ethylene glycol plant.
It is worth mentioning that Saudi Kayan, a unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), has an annual production capacity of more than 4 million tons of petrochemical and chemical products.
