Saudi Telecom Company, RIM sign partnership agreement

(MENAFN) Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC) retail sector vice president, Ibrahim Al-Omar, said that the company signed a partnership agreement with Research in Motion (RIM), the Canadian firm, reported Arab News.

Al-Omar added that through the deal, the Saudi company would expand its Blackberry services in the Kingdom, through exchanging expertise with RIM and providing STC’s clients with wide range of content, applications and smart solutions

He also said that the Saudi community was one of the world’s largest users of BBM application with a level that reached 99 percent.

It is worth noting that STC was the first telecom company in Saudi Arabia to bring the blackberry services.
