SNC-Lavalin wins contract in Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN) Canadian engineering company SNC-Lavalin said it has been awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for the Jabal Sayid copper concentrator project in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Gazette reported.

The project by Saudi company Bariq Mining has an estimated pre-production capital cost of $300 million. SNC-Lavalin said.

SNC-Lavalin said it will be responsible for the ore crushing, conveying and stockpiling equipment at the plant, building storage and loading as well as mine infrastructure, including power, water and tailings disposal.
