(MENAFN) US attorney Larry Klayman filed a law suit against Facebook and its co-founder Mark Zuckerberg demanding USD1 billion over a page that called for an uprising in occupied Palestine against Israel, reported Arabian Business.
Klayman claims that the social network platform did not act quickly enough for removing the page, which was called “Third Palestinian Intifada”. He said that the page promoted for violence against Israel and that Facebook took advantage of its popularity, ignoring its ethical responsibility.
The page in subject had over 340,000 ‘likes’ before its removal from the popular social networking site.
It is worth noting that the page was removed by Facebook on March 29 following a number of complaints.
