(MENAFN) The Governor of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), Fehied Al-Shareef, said that the company launched a “i-Supplier Portal”, an electronic transformation program (e-TP), in an attempt to provide faster services and better products, reported Arab News.
Al-Shareef said that the program, which was launched in 2007, is intended to connect SWCC with its suppliers inside and outside of Saudi Arabia. The i-Supplier Portal meets all of SWCC’s needs when it comes to technical infrastructure, enterprise resource management, human resource management, financial systems and integration with local and worldwide suppliers.
It is worth noting that SWCC generates more than 3.5 million cubic meters of drinking water every day, and more than 20 percent of the country’s electricity needs.
