(MENAFN) officials at Tanmiyat Aloula Holdings said that the Bahrain-based is planning to construct a photovoltaic power plant in the kingdom, Gulf Daily News reported.
According to the officials, the $200 million project uses photovoltaic devices or solar cells to convert sunlight into electricity.
The plant will include a research and training centre in co-operation with Economic Development Board and one of the leading companies in this field in addition to Bahrain University, officials said.
