TDIC to build $25m tower in Abu Dhabi

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabiï¿½s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) has partnered with Al Fahim Group to build a commercial tower worth more than $24.7 million, along the UAE capitalï¿½s creek, Gulf News reported.
Ali and Sons Contracting bagged the development contract and Khatib and Alami were appointed consultants for the tower that is due to open in the first quarter of 2012.
Covering a total area of 18,000 square meters (sqm), and a total build-up area of almost 70,000 sqm, the tower consists of nine floors with two levels of underground parking capable of holding over 600 cars at once.
