UAE hosts new Australian hotel chain

(MENAFN) General Manager of Australian hotel operator StayWell Hospitality Group (SWHG), Scott Butcher, announced that the company has entered the Middle East by opening its first hotel in Dubai called the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, Gulf News reported.

According to Butcher, the hotel, which consists of 392 guest rooms/suites is already showing a positive and consistent increase in bookings, and is confident that SWHG’s occupancy rates will steadily grow.

The venture is SWHG’s first entry in the Middle East region alongside its twenty four properties in the Asia Pacific including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart and Launceston as well as properties under development in Singapore, Malaysia, Morocco and New Zealand. The brand is also setting up hotel operations in China and India.
