UAE- Metito plans $12.3m expansion

(MENAFN) UAE-based Metito, the leading provider of water management solutions, has unveiled a $12.25 million expansion on its build-operate-transfer (BOT) wastewater treatment project at Dubai Investment Park, Gulf News reported.

The recently completed expansion of the project takes the total installed capacity to 31,000 cubic meters per day.

Future expansions in the Park are expected to bring the total capacity to 80,000 cu m per day. Services provided by Metito Utilities include the financing, design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and the eventual transfer of the wastewater treatment plant.

The plant is modular in design, allowing for the addition of phases based on continuous growth of DIP. The entire project will service 23 sq km and a population of 350,000, when completed.
