UAE’s Etihad Airways plans to launch second daily flight to Johannesburg

(MENAFN) Etihad said that the carrier would launch a second daily service to Johannesburg, reported Arabian Business.

The firm added that it would also change flight timings between UAE and South Africa starting next month, in order to provide new morning and evening departure options from both Abu Dhabi and Johannesburg

It also said that all Etihad Airways flights to South Africa would end in Johannesburg under the new schedule, and no longer operate through to Cape Town.

It is worth noting that Etihad Airways launched it flights to Johannesburg in December 2005 and in the last six years, the carrier carried more than half a million passengers to and from South Africa.
