(MENAFN) Etisalat’s e-vision unit CEO, Humaid Rashid Sahoo, said that as part of the eLife TV Asian Choice Basic package, the UAE’s telecom firm inaugurated three new channels from India’s Times Television Network in the UAE, reported Emirates 24/7.
Sahoo added that eLife TV was delivered on high-speed fiber-optic network; moreover, it would provide customers with over 350 TV channels in 21 languages, with more than 30 high definition channels.
He also said that the new channels, Times Now, ET Now and Zoom, would be highly received by the large and affluent Indian and South Asian communities in the country, since they would have the opportunity to get the latest breaking news, analysis, business updates and Bollywood entertainment.
It is worth noting that around 100,000 homes were subscribed to the new eLife TV service at the moment it was launched.
