(MENAFN) In a huge ceremony was held at the Dubai Healthcare City Station, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE prime minister, vice-president and ruler of Dubai, opened the Dubai Metro’s Green Line, reported Arabian business.
Al Maktoum stated that the Green Line metro was opened after two years of Dubai Metro’s Red Line opening.
This project would provide low price transportations for passengers who live in Dubai’s older areas including Bur Dubai and Deira by adding 23km rail network and eighteen stations, he added.
It is worth mentioning that UEA especially Dubai recovered from the global economic crisis that swept the world’s economies and had one of the strongest economies in the region and the world.
