(MENAFN) UK’s Interior Services Group said that due to new contracts in Abu Dhabi and the rebound of Dubai’s construction industry, the construction management company’s full-year adjusted pre-tax profit in the region grew to USD1 million from a USD481,566 loss in 2010, reported The National.
The company added that revenue in the Middle East reached USD32 million, furthermore, Interior Services would focus on fit-out services in the region that would include design and completion of interiors with partitioning, floors, ceilings, and mechanical, electrical and environmental requirements.
It also said that the second half of the year witnessed a strong performance in the region, whereas the company’s profit fell on international operations since performance slowed down at the firm’s global fit-out division.
It is worth noting that Interior Services Group secured five of the initial fit-out projects for Sowwah Square, which is a development at the Sowwah Island, Abu Dhabi’s new financial centre.
